Visit Tuscany with us from a different point of view. With this package you will have a nice accommodation with breakfast in the heart of Lucca town (well-know birth place of Giacomo Puccini).

After your arrival and welcome in your B&B, on the first day of your stay we’ll organize the visit of the charming medieval village of Lari. The ancient Castle of the village, situated on top of the hill, will astonish you with its breath-taking panorama.

Inside the Castle there is an interactive museum. It has several multimedia applications from projections, videos and holograms. You will also have the chance to create your own coat of arms, fitting perfectly in the medieval atmosphere. After this, you will visit a small family-run pasta factory, an incredible opportunity to discover the secrets of the most important Italian meal…spaghetti! Later on, you will enter the most ancient butcher shop of the village, where you will enjoy a special aperitif. You will taste several types of rigorously local cold cuts like jambon, ham and Tuscan salami. Combined with the excellent food, you will have a good glass of Tuscan red Doc wine. Once the aperitif is over you will go back to Lucca on your comfortable minivan, enjoying the view of the typical Tuscan countryside.

The second activity included in this special package is the guided walking tour of Lucca, birth town of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. You will spend a few hours with an expert guide who will lead you across the ancient town and explain you all the secrets and interesting facts of Lucca. For example, you will see the Guinigi Tower, known also as the ‘tree tower’ because it has real oaks growing on the top! You will admire the still standing medieval walls, dating back XV century and the most important part of the city, the Amphitheater square.

During this weekend, you will stay in a nice B&B in the center of Lucca. The accommodation will offer you a delicious buffet breakfast and comfortable and quiet rooms.
