Description
This activity takes place in one of the most famous wine estates in San Gimignano. You will have the chance to savor one of the best Italian second courses, the T-bone steak. In addition to this, you will feel at home thanks to the kindness of the wine estate owner and of his staff. As soon as you reach the estate, you will be greeted by the host and you will have the chance to admire the whole property, strolling across the vineyards.
You will then enter the dining room, elegantly decorated, where you will sit and just wait for the amazing dinner. This special meal will be divided in four courses. To start with, you will be served the typical Tuscan appetizers: different types of cheese and salami, which you can combine with fresh salad and bruschetta, the classic Tuscan bread, toasted and served with olive oil, rigorously produced within the ancient estate.
Following the appetizers, you will taste a special first course, the truffle lasagna. At the same time, if you do not like the taste of truffle you can decide to have the Ribollita instead, a Tuscan vegetable soup. The second, and most important course of the dinner is the T-bone steak, served with vegetables. We assure you will feel more than happy after tasting this delicious and exquisite meat, cooked to the perfection. To end the supper, you will delight your mouth with a fantastic home-made vanilla ice-cream with balsamic vinegar, produced within the estate, and the famous Cantucci biscotti
During the whole dinner you will taste Super Tuscan DOC and best Chianti DOCG wines, all produced in the wine estate. The staff will be always next to you, ready to explain to you the composition of the wines. They will also teach you how to taste the wine and how the different types are to be combined with the different courses you will be served.
This is a special experience in which you will dive into the Tuscan atmosphere, surrounded by kind people, delicate food and exquisite wine!
